When I created JD Business Consulting, I was keen to put into practice the expertise accumulated in my professional and academic experiences, to improve business strategies of Madagasy companies.

The choice to end my professional career in 2016 and to train myself abroad  in MBA, after an internal promotion within a large group, had always been one of the most difficult decisions that I had to make, but it remains for me an essential  move to the next level of my career. I had not yet thought about creating a company (at least immediately), but I had in mind to train myself by leaving my comfort zone to strengthen my skills. Thus, to cross the oceans to live in the Land of the Rising Sun to learn and understand leadership and management in a country, which like Madagascar is an island, and which like Madagascar went through an economic and financial crisis in the 1960s, but is emerging victorious today. Here we talk about Japan. Beyond academic training that I received, this experience forged my character and made me discover both my potential and my limits.

Upon my return to Madagascar, after five years spent in Japan, the gap is too much to bear. I have to do something for my country. I have noticed a strong enthusiasm and curiosity in Japanese culture from Malagasy companies. There is a desire to know more about the market and to want to bring our products there. And yet, here it is, how to get there?, where to start? After several failures on product and solution trials, I specialized in consulting, I want to use for the benefit of Malagasy companies, the knowledge of the market in Japan, the networks that I have been able to build throughout these five years, to make the specificities of “Doing business in Japan” understood, quite simply to share and succeed together!

At the very beginning, in 2021, I worked for a client,  an international consulting company in Japan entrusted to me with their field trip to Madagascar for the RN2 construction project. Today I work with a team of expert consultants, competent and passionate in their respective fields.

Our Vision is to progress together in a common dynamism in the world of consulting in Madagascar and Japan, with the aim of innovating, challenging the current business world in both countries.

Our field of activities is expanding, initially to meet the needs of Malagasy companies to expand their market in Japan (market entry strategy in Japan), to share the acquired knowledge on the managerial skills of Japan (training in Kaizen and Omotenashi). And now, we provide services to meet the needs of Malagasy companies, SMEs and start-ups to shape their corporate identity, to solve their positioning problems by offering consulting in development of business strategies and corporate branding.
